Model Car Part 2

In my car there were way to many polygons so I decided to try and start a new one to see how it will turn out. So I did so by making a rectangle and inserting edge loop tools/ Interactive Loop apropetly now I'm about to start the back of my car with more than half as less poly's so I've decided to stick to the newer model I did In this model I have 183 Faces as of the end of the week and in the older one I had 607 faces!

Here's what I have done this week:

Side View of the Ford Fiesta I am done the shape of the front wheel, I've also done the outline of the Side Window as well. The Spoiler for the Fiesta is small but you can get the basic shape of it until I model and shape it further.

I'm almost done the front now it just needs a couple of tweaks, but I've finished the definition of the lights, grill and etc.

I have shaped the door back tyre and curve at the back from the side view.
I've extruded the windows inwards to give some depth.
I have shaped the roof and door handle two and curved the door to give definition.

Creating the Car

I have decide to do a Ford Fiesta (latest model) because there is more of an unique design.

I have used the edge loop tool multiple times on the bonnet of the Fiesta because there are a lot of shapes going on now I need to set the depth of the grill, lights, etc.

Modelling Building 3

I have now started extruding the building to make them into 3D models.
I have extruded the canteen to an appropriate height in relation to real-lif

I have now added the registry office to the canteen. I have payed attention to the slope that goes downwards for the registry office

I have now inserted one part of the student residence

I have finished extruding the buildings in a 3D view I have also added a roof to the student halls .

My next goal in this design is to get finer detail in my 3D model.

Modelling Building. 2

I have started modelling the building I have been assigned to do. I have started to make the buildings by drawing a 2D field, here are the steps I took to make these buildings.
All my images will be viewed from the top and without the grid so you can clearly see the outline.

This is an image of the canteen block and the registry office.

Canteen, registry office and now the one part of the student halls I just added.

In this image you should be able to see the blueprint of the buildings i am making because i have now finished making them in 2D in Maya

This is a clearly labelled to show you where each building is.
