Modelling Building 3

I have now started extruding the building to make them into 3D models.
I have extruded the canteen to an appropriate height in relation to real-lif

I have now added the registry office to the canteen. I have payed attention to the slope that goes downwards for the registry office

I have now inserted one part of the student residence

I have finished extruding the buildings in a 3D view I have also added a roof to the student halls .

My next goal in this design is to get finer detail in my 3D model.

Modelling Building. 2

I have started modelling the building I have been assigned to do. I have started to make the buildings by drawing a 2D field, here are the steps I took to make these buildings.
All my images will be viewed from the top and without the grid so you can clearly see the outline.

This is an image of the canteen block and the registry office.

Canteen, registry office and now the one part of the student halls I just added.

In this image you should be able to see the blueprint of the buildings i am making because i have now finished making them in 2D in Maya

This is a clearly labelled to show you where each building is.

Modelling Car 1

have also been assigned to model a car for my assignment. The car had to be an affordable car and commercially available for consumers e.g. Ford Fiesta, Peugeot 206.

I decided to use the Peugeot 206, to design. The reasons being it's a common car which is seen everywhere and just find the shape interesting because the headlights look like evil eyes and the curves on the car make it took great.

This is the image that I found on http://www.the-blueprints.com of 4 views of the peugeot 206.

Side View

Front View

In Maya I will be using the front and side view to start modelling to get the basic shape of the vehicle.

Modelling Building. 1

In this assignment I have been asked to do Block 2 which includes the student halls, canteen and the registry building.

Here is a image of my buildings i need to make on Maya:

These are the buildings I have been assigned to do. I have labeled the buildings in this image but it's not very clear the canteen is on the left and the Student halls is the upside down 'L' shape building on the right and the registry office is the small building in between the two buildings. I will have to pay attention to the different levels of the building because it is on an un-even surface.
